A Centre for Atmospheric Science research suggests that sea ice loss could amplify permafrost warming, with an ice-free Arctic that includes a lower in hydroxyl of as much as 60% and a rise of tropospheric ozone (one other greenhouse gasoline) of up to 60% over the Arctic.
